Dr. Kristin Gallaway (she/her) received her Doctorate in School Psychology from Illinois State University. She completed an APA-accredited internship in Clinical Psychology with the Nebraska Internship Consortium of Professional Psychology at Boys Town, and completed a two-year specialty postdoctoral fellowship in anxiety, OCD, and related disorders at KCCAT, before joining as a Staff Psychologist. Dr. Gallaway’s clinical interests focus on evidence-based treatments for OCD, Selective Mutism, Social Anxiety, severe behavioral concerns, Autism Spectrum Disorder, picky eating behaviors, Tics, Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors, ADHD and the intersection of anxious symptoms, other anxiety spectrum disorders, and depressive symptoms. Dr. Gallaway has a special interest in working with children and adolescents, though also enjoys working with those across the lifespan. With a background in School Psychology, she also has particular interest collaborating and consulting with schools. Her research interests and publications have focused on parental experiences with the special education system and how Executive Functioning skills impact overall academic performance in school-aged children.
OVERVIEW: This webinar will provide an overview of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and exposure-based treatments to reduce symptom interference. Review application of “above and beyond” exposures and problem solving to address common barriers associated with effective implementation.

This continuing education webinar is designed for mental health professionals, therapists, psychologists, social workers, case managers, nurses, and health care professionals. The community is also invited to attend.
CONTINUING EDUCATION:
Mental Health America of the Heartland is a pre-approved provider for social workers through the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board (BSRB) Provider Number 17-007. This continuing education provider is approved 1.5 hours for social workers and accepted for psychologists, professional counselors, masters prepared psychologists, marriage and family therapists and addiction counselors.
In order to receive continuing education credit and a certificate of attendance for this Zoom webinar, you will be required to participate in the Zoom webinar. You will receive a Zoom invitation via email within a week of webinar. Also you will need to take an online exam and complete an evaluation that will be sent in a separate email after the live Zoom webinar. You must pass the test by 70%. The Zoom webinar will not be available by recording and viewing at any other time.
